The following notification was sent to all veterinary jurisdictions from AAVSB.

The transcript processor, Parchment, recently implemented new restrictions that prevent VAULT from ordering transcripts to be sent directly to licensing boards. Parchment is currently used by 13 veterinary schools and more than 60 veterinary technician programs.

For licensees who use the VAULT Premium service, this means, in many cases, the AAVSB is unable to include a transcript with the packet sent to the licensee’s designated board. These licensees must order their own transcript and have it sent to the board separately from the VAULT packet.

AAVSB has released a guide that helps determine whether licensees must request their own transcript.
