First-Time LBVM Applicant?
If you have not yet started the online application process with the LBVM, then please click the Apply button below to be brought to application information and instructions specific for DVM Faculty licensure.
NOTE: Pursuant to LAC §303.E.2, a faculty license shall not be used to practice veterinary medicine beyond the holder’s employment at the school. A faculty license cannot be used to practice veterinary medicine at a private or another public facility where veterinary care is provided, or to practice veterinary medicine at an emergency veterinary care facility.
Application In-Progress or Submitted?
If you have already created an online account and started the online application process, click below to go to the LBVM Application Portal. Through the portal you can complete and submit your application and supplemental documentation and check on the status of your documents. Applicants are encouraged to frequently log into the LBVM Application Portal for application updates.
Are You a Current LA DVM Faculty Licensee?
If you already possess an active or expired DVM Faculty license in Louisiana and are trying to access or renew your license, you must log into the LBVM License Portal, NOT the LBVM Application Portal.
Having Trouble Logging In?
Click here to reset your password. You will receive an email with a temporary password to use to log into the Application Portal. Remember, your username, password and answers to the three security questions are all CASE-SENSITIVE.
Are you locked out? After three failed login attempts, you will be locked out of Application Portal. If so, you must email the Board at admin@lsbvm.org for further assistance.
