The Emergency Rules enacted during COVID expired in the Spring ’22 and starting July 1, 2022, the Board reverted back to its regular rules related to continuing education hours. In so doing, a maximum of 50% of the required CE hours may be obtained online – which includes interactive Zoom-style webinars. DVMs can earn no more than ten (10) hours online; RVTs can earn no more than five (5) hours online; and CAETs can earn no more than three (3) hours online.
While the renewal cycle does not open until July 1, 2023, licensees can enter their Continuing Education activity now through the LBVM License Portal. Instructions for logging into the License Portal, entering continuing education activity, and completing the renewal process can be found at www.lsbvm.org/renewal.
