The meeting notice and proposed agenda for each meeting is made available no less than one week prior to the meeting date, which can be found on the Dates & Agenda page.

Meetings are open to the public, except that the board may meet in closed, executive session to prepare, approve, administer or grade examinations, or to deliberate the qualification of an applicant for license or the disposition of a proceeding to discipline a licensed veterinarian. In accordance with LAC 4:I.Chapter 8, disability accommodation requests may be submitted to the LBVM Executive Director at director@lsbvm.org or 225-925-6620.

The Meeting Minutes must be ratified at the next meeting before being published to the Board’s website.

Licensees can earn three hours of continuing education for attending a meeting, for a total of no more than six hours annually.
