Application Fees
The appropriate application fees below will be assessed on your online application automatically based on your license and application type and the information you submit. Payment can be made online via 1) credit/debit card, 2) via ACH payment or 3) via paper check on the last step of the application process.
Processing Fees: A 2.5% processing fee applies to credit/debit card payments (charged by Elavon). ACH and check payments have no processing fee.
Your application will remain incomplete until full payment and all supplemental documents are received. Paying by physical check will delay completion.
DVM Fees, $560-570 Total
- Non-Refundable App Fee: $100
- Original Certification Fee: $250
- State Board Exam Fee: $200
- Score Transfer Fee: $10 or $20
(NAVLE transfer fee is $10 & NBE/CCT transfer fee is $20)
Score transfer fee is only paid if score is being transferred from another state
A $50 testing fee must be paid to the third-party testing vendor if the online state board exam option is selected.
RVT Fees, $95-105 Total
- Non-Refundable App Fee: $25
- Original Certification Fee: $30
- State Board Exam Fee: $40
- Score Transfer Fee: $10
Score transfer fee is only paid if VTNE score is being transferred from another state
A $50 testing fee must be paid to the third-party testing vendor if the online state board exam option is selected.
Full CAET Fees, $205 Total
- Non-Refundable App Fee: $25
- Full CAET Certification Fee: $50
- CAET Course Fee: $80
- CAET Exam Fee: $50
