The rulemaking review process from Notice of Intent to a promulgated Final Rule can take 6 to 12 months [R.S. 49:968(H)(1)]. The Louisiana Register publishes more details in its APA Guide and Rulemaking Timetables, which gives a list of various actions and steps that must be completed through the entire rulemaking process.

• [06-02-22] — Public Hearing minutes ratified by Board at June 2nd meeting.
• [06-09-22] — Having evaluated the comments and testimony from the public hearing, the Board voted to make changes to the proposed rule. The changes to the proposed rule will be published in the 2022 Louisiana Register, Volume 48, June Edition.
