Renewal Deadline – Sept. 30th, 2025!

All license and certificate renewals – which includes the submission of CE activity and payment of all fees – must be completed through the LBVM License Portal by no later than Sept. 30th, 2025. Please visit the Renewal Info page at www.lsbvm.org/renewal and carefully read through the renewal instructions. In accordance with the Louisiana Administrative Code (LAC 46:LXXXV), even if a renewal is submitted and initial payment is made, the renewal will still be incomplete if there is missing information and/or documentation related to continuing education activity. ALL documentation of compliance with continuing education requirements must be received by Sept. 30th; otherwise, a renewal will be incomplete and will expire on Oct. 1st at which time the late renewal fee and possibly the late CE fee may be assessed.

RENEWAL PAYMENTS
* If fees are paid via credit card, it may take 3-5 business days for your payment to be reflected in your bank account.
* Check payments must be received on/before the Sept. 30th renewal deadline; otherwise, your license/certificate will be expired starting Oct. 1st — No exceptions. Your renewal will not be considered complete until payment of all fees has been received by the Board. If a check payment is postmarked on/after Oct. 1st, an additional late renewal fee (for DVMs – $150; for RVTs – $20; for CAETs – $25) will be assessed in a separate invoice which must be paid before your renewal will be considered complete. Your license/certificate will remain in an expired status until the late renewal fee is paid in full.
